Music Careers
Interested in music as a career? Former students have catapulted from Dave Wilbur's Rock Lab to play professionally with live bands, or achieved success as studio musicians in their own right. Many have been selected to the highest level military bands for all branches of the US Armed Forces. Dave and other instructors at the Rock Lab continue to keep it fresh by gigging live around the country throughout the year. The training you will receive at the Rock Lab can take you anywhere your dreams, desire, and drive will take you.

Continuing Music Education Scholarships
We have developed relationships with several area schools who offer scholarships to students seeking a career in music. Whether you want teach music, or work as a professional musician, there are scholarships we can help you discover, apply for, and prepare for if they include performance-based reviews. We know what college and military entrance boards are looking for in a music student, so we can help you achieve your music education goals.

Recording Studios
Dave Wilbur's Rock Lab occasionally offers students the opportunity to participate in studio recording sessions for various local and national performing artists. Because of this, we have relationships with several recording houses in Utah and elsewhere in the US. If you would like to arrange a professional recording session, talk to Dave or Midge to see which would provide the best option for the project you have in mind. We can help arrange everything, so all you need to do is show up and jam!
